Seedream Credits and Plans: Budget for Tasks, Not Promised Images

A plan adds credits to your website account; the selected task consumes credits according to its server quote. These are different numbers. Choose a budget around the work you intend to do and review renewal and validity terms before checkout. This guide does not change the checkout catalog or model charges.

What a one-time pack includes

The current one-time packs are Mini at $2.99 for 100 credits, Flex at $10.99 for 600 credits and Power at $25.99 for 1,500 credits. Pack credits are valid for 365 days and do not automatically renew. Those amounts describe an account balance, not a fixed number of finished images. Read the checkout summary for the product you are actually buying.

What a monthly plan means

The current monthly subscriptions are Starter at $7.99 for 400 credits, Creator at $18.99 for 1,100 credits and Pro at $44.99 for 2,800 credits. Subscriptions renew according to their checkout terms until cancelled. One-month prepaid memberships, where offered, are a separate one-time purchase. Check the selected payment option instead of assuming all monthly-looking products renew in the same way.

How task quotes affect your budget

Before generating, review the actual model, operation, reference files, output settings and image count. Different models can have different unit costs, and a batch changes the total. Do not carry a cost from one model to another just because both appear in a family guide. Keep the quote and task identifier if you need to investigate a charge.

Budget for revisions and failures

Several requests can be needed to reach one accepted result. Start with a small controlled experiment before a large batch. When a task is still pending, inspect its status instead of submitting duplicates. Failed provider tasks follow the existing credit-reversal process. A successful image that does not meet your creative preference is a different situation; consult the refund policy for billing questions.

Keep API billing separate

Website credits are not dollars held with an external API provider. Calling that provider directly uses a separate account, credential and bill. A website subscription does not automatically include unrestricted external API use. For a project, account for storage, transfer, manual review and revisions as well as generation. Read the pricing page and refund terms before committing to a larger budget.

Put the brief to work

Choose one observable goal, submit a controlled request and save an accepted baseline before revising.

Frequently asked questions

How many finished pictures does 100 credits buy?

There is no fixed finished-image count. The task quote, output count and revisions determine the requests your balance can fund.

Does a one-time pack renew?

No. The current credit packs are one-time purchases. A recurring subscription has separate renewal terms.

Are these provider API dollar prices?

No. These are website account plans and credits. Direct provider usage is billed separately.
